Allison Champion, LMFT, CSATP

My calling and passion is working with those struggling with life problems whether it be depression, grief, life changes, anxiety, addiction or other issues. I am especially called to those impacted by sexual addiction (both the addict and loved ones), and survivors of sexual abuse. I have been researching and studying these topics for over 20 years. I also enjoy working with Christians struggling in their spiritual walk, as well as teaching. My future aspirations include a certification in Christian sex therapy.

I completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Missouri State University, continued my education by acquiring a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, and am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I hold the required four years of doctoral training in Clinical Psychology. In addition, I am certified as a Sexual Addictions Treatment Provider (CSATP) through MidAmerica Nazarene University (the only accredited program for sexual addiction currently). I have been trained in EMDR treatment and am currently in the process of becoming a certified EMDR therapist.

My husband, Tim, and I have been married for 27 years and have two children, ages 22 and 25. We have been living in the Ozarks since 1999 and are actively involved with our local church.
