Karen Rodriguez, MSW, LISW, LCSW: Karen serves as the CEO/Owner of Healthy Homes Family Services Inc. and is a clinical social worker licensed in both Iowa and Nebraska. She has bachelor’s degrees in Social Work and Criminal Justice from the University of Nebraska at Kearney and a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and is currently working on a PhD in social work. Karen has over twenty-five years’ experience working with children and families including a background in child welfare services, law enforcement and extensive experience in mental health and substance abuse treatment with teens and families. She specializes in working with family issues, behavior disorders couples therapy and blended family issues. Karen also provides in-service training and presentations to area business and organizations on various mental health and leadership topics. Karen is a Military Family Life Consultant providing emotional support to military members and their families and is the proud parent of a soldier and has many family members in the military. She supervises practicum students and is an adjunct instructor for secondary education in social work. Karen is married and is the proud parent of three children and grandparent to 3 adorable grandsons.
