As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with ten years of experience in the mental health field, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including outpatient mental health clinics, psychiatric and medical hospitals, crisis centers, therapeutic day schools, and home-based programs. I have enjoyed working with children and adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a variety of problems, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, addiction, parenting, and family issues. I enjoy working with people from all backgrounds.

I believe that, in order to help people reach their individual goals, therapy is best tailored to suit each person’s unique needs. I draw strongly from a cognitive-behavioral and client-centered theoretical background.

I use a holistic approach, incorporating all aspects of a person’s life, as this creates the most positive change. I strive to offer a safe, nonjudgmental environment so that together we can face whatever obstacles bring you to therapy. My hope is that this process will bring about positive change, growth, and healing.
