Emotional distress is universal; everyone suffers from it some time in their lives. You do not have to continue suffering alone. I realize deciding on a counselor is a difficult and emotional decision, and one which should not be taken lightly. In our first session we decide together, if I am the right counselor for you. I am also a Veteran and understand military culture. I see a diverse population of individuals, couples, families, Veterans, LGBTQQI, and individuals with both mental health and substance abuse issues. I offer counseling for those on Suboxone.

My orientation in counseling is primarily psychodynamic, however I use the theory best suited for each client. I believe where you are going in life is determined by your experiences from your past. Working through unresolved past issues can clear the path for future growth and a more fulfilling present.

I have an extensive background in critical care nursing and those suffering from all types of trauma, chronic pain and stresses from both civilian and military causes. I have advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and advanced training in Critical Incident Stress Management(CISM).
