I am passionate about offering support when things get tough – life can become so difficult and we aren’t always as prepared as we would like to be for the curveballs. Sometimes that means we turn to alcohol or drugs to help us cope, or we avoid close relationships for fear of being hurt, or we let the judgments and beliefs of other people become an inner voice of self-loathing that results in depression, anxiety, or suicidal thoughts; or perhaps we find ourselves striving for perfection at the cost of everything else or putting on a brave face for the world when we really feel like we’re drowning inside.

What I can offer you is an individualized approach to therapy and a promise to work with you on whatever concern brings you to my office. If it matters to you then it matters to me. We are complex people capable of holding many different thoughts, beliefs, emotions, and self-views all at once, and finding support when those are in conflict can make the world of a difference.
