Quit Falling ( Your local Fall Prevention Specialist, Ingrid Borland, OTR/L)

We specialize in preventing falls in the aging population 65+.

Why Do Falls Happen?

· There is not enough education out there.

· Society and insurance companies focus on challenging balance (Increasing Fall-Risk)

· Occupational Therapists focus on modifying (Decreasing Fall-Risk)

How does Quit Falling and Occupational Therapy help prevent falls?

· People don’t typically work with an Occupational Therapist (OT) until after they fall

· We teach all the ways falls can happen using real-life scenarios.

· We teach you the logic behind falls and how to modify routine to decrease falls.

· We tailor classes to all  of your needs (cognitive, physical, etc).

Quit Falling was created and taught by an Occupational Therapist (Ingrid Borland) who found an effective way to increase awareness and educate on how to prevent falls. Sign up for Step 1 (Intro to Quit Falling) by following this link:  https://quitfalling.as.me/schedule.php
