It definitely has been a challenging last few months for most and even more so for folks who have fallen ill to corona/FLU/Pneumonia.

My name Is Jenny A Barnum, I am a board certified Nurse Practitioner with an undergrad degree in Psychology and Professional Counseling Diploma. Having worked in the ER, Inpatient and outpatient mental health, community mental health and dealing with a range of populations, I am equipped to affordably help you in your time of need. My experience is with individuals age 18 and over, co-occurring illnesses, trauma, extensive work with Vets, Grief and loss, Addiction, how to handle stress, work, things that are out of your control, and so much in between.

My style is down to earth and does not come from a text book, as you are not from a textbook, but an individual with specific concerns and needs. My rates are very reasonable as I do not take insurance because it slows down helping me, help others, so I try to keep my overhead low in order to keep your pockets still full after having an appointment with me.

In person, telephone or Virtual live video, is your choice. In addition, I do make house calls if you request one. I am old school and I do what needs to be done to help you and /or your loved one make it through this rocky time or this really long rocky road. Hours are flexible, last minute is fine just call me or send me an email or text and I will make room for you, unless it is a medical emergency and then you must call 911. You may use an alias if you choose for confidentiality, I have no problem with that, life is challenging enough and reaching out to me is beyond difficult, I know from first hand experience.

Consults are free even if they are 15 or 45 min long, I want to make sure we are a good fit.

In addition, I practice Primary and urgent care, which means I most likely would have to visit your home. If you have a question, I can direct you whether the ER or urgent care is appropriate-questions for a referral as to where to go are FREE.

Extensive experience in end of life, dying with dignity and helping sort through those “critical questions” you may have. I taught for 9 years in Nursing and Pharmacology/Physiology at 3 of our local University’s and its my pleasure to assist you.

Don’t be afraid to ask a question, I am very receptive. Hang in there. Just hang on tight till we get to talking, then you can loosen your grip, I can assure you of that. I will also assist with respite care at any time and dementia/delirium, anger, or behavioral issues that some aid services may not be skilled to handle, I assure you I can and will help. 14 plus years of experience and many more to come!
