My goal is to help people who are struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD and psychiatric conditions. I’m compassionate & motivated to find the right treatment for you. I am experienced in treating all mental health issues, schizophrenia and bipolar illnesses included. It’s common to feel overwhelmed and trapped. As a psychiatrist, I’ll work with you to untangle the various biological or psychological factors causing you to feel hopeless, stressed, or dysfunctional. I’ll discuss the treatment options available, and together we can select the best ones. Not accepting new patients until March 2019. Note-I do not accept insurance.

I’ve been an inpatient psychiatrist at SASH, Audie Murphy VA & Laurel Ridge. I was a member of the teaching faculty at UT Health for over 35 years & retired from teaching in 2015. I was Board Certified in 1975. I am a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.
