Courage is being scared, but doing it anyway. It takes courage to begin counseling. Therapy is a means to reach personal goals, reduce suffering, and get more joy out of life. We have an unlimited capacity to heal ourselves, despite the pain we’ve suffered.

I create an emotionally safe, non-judgmental, and caring environment for clients to share their concerns and increase self-knowledge. I believe it’s possible to transform the negative energy of painful thoughts and/or feelings into positive energy that can facilitate a belief in one’s self.

It’s never too late to bloom. After working as a registered nurse for many years, I obtained a master of science degree in counseling. As a result of this education and experience, I believe in the connectedness of emotional health, physical disease, and spirituality.
